College kudos • Over Queen's Birthday weekend a group of talented young people from Ruapehu College visited us in Hastings to play rugby and netball against Flaxmere College. It was commented on by many, how your students were warm, friendly and wonderful ambassadors not only for Ruapehu College but also the Waimarino area. Your students were billeted and all showed a high degree of maturity in this important aspect of socialisation — something that the students, parents and school can feel very proud of. To the future we look forward in accepting an invitation to return the exchange in 1997 and hope to continue fostering a healthy relationship with a school that has "model" students. Thank you and well done Ruapehu College.
