Raetihi agency, info centre merger idea revisited

Combining the Raetihi council agency and the information centre is back on the agenda, following last week's Waimarino Community Board meeting. Board member Gary Rawnsley said the information centre was "not up to standard in its ability to provide a top service for people passing through Raetihi" and that it needed better signposting. The board agreed that a working party be formed to look at the matter, with those appointed being marketing manager Bruce Rollinson, administration manager Sue Morris, Hope Vaughn and WCB members Gary Rawnsley and Bob Peck.
