Twenty five players turned out for a par round on club day 9 June With the Presidents Team away in Fielding the turnout was reasonable but a larger field would be better - so members please get out and support the club. Results Seniors saw Pat Goldfinch continue with his good form with +4 take 1st, Andrew Murdie 2nd with +2, Wayne Marsh also with +2, and Gary Greedy on +1 being the winners. Juniors saw Hugh Geraghty on +5, followed by Jason Whale and Richard Taoa on +4, and Simon Barlow on +2. The Ladies had a 3-way tie with Barbara Dempsey, Nancy Winter and Pat Mcllroy finishing all square. The Roarers Mug went to Hugh and the lucky number to G Clarke who was not there. Members are asked to check the revised dates for the club competitions and ensure that they are completed on time, and reminded that the pro will be there next Sunday. Saturday 15th tournament for Andrew Condon's farewell tee off at 11.30 am. Bar Duty next week: Andrew. The President's Team at Fielding produced some good matches. The conditions were good with the greens lightening fast. The seniors went down 2.5 to 1 .5 and the juniors finished 2-2 giving Fielding a win 6-4. The previous draw with Tawharo and win against Rangatira sees the team into the quarter finals.
