Fashion and fun on show next week
11 s mai ume oi year again wnen tne naturai taient or tne Waimarino graces the catwalk showing off the gladrags of some of our leading retailers. Once again organisers promise a night not to be missed with proceeds this year going to the Ohakune Primary School. The Primary School PTA will be busy over the next week organising for the "Cold As Ice" fashion show. Students have been busy making cold decorations, an excellent hamper to raffle, a delicious supper on ice and a host of other things to make an enjoyable night. A real drawcard this year is having the Ruapehu College 1996 Stage Challenge team performing on the night. Last year Stage Challenge won their regional competition in Palmerston North and put on an excellent performance for the local community. They compete Friday 21 June straight after this year's fashion show and with this year's "Euphony" theme will be trying their hardest to defend their title. "Come along and enjoy a top evening, It' 11 be great local entertainment, it'll be heaps of local fun, it'll be an great local party and it's all for an excellent local cause. See you there!" said publicity office Kath Campbell.
