Winter visitor guide on the go

The development of a winter visitor guide for the entire Ruapehu District which will take the form of a glossy tabloid is currently under publication. "The purpose of the guide is to follow up on the co-operative marketing of the district in the major domestic markets which began earlier this year," said Ruapehu District Council marketing manager Bruce Rollinson. "The guide will provide the detailed information the visitor requires when in

the region directing them to what is available in the area," he said. It is the second part of the winter marketing campaign which is sponsored by operators throughout the district and supported by Whakapapa and Turoa ski areas and Council' s marketing unit. The Ruapehu Bulletin is producing the guide. Any queries regarding advertising in the guide can be directed to Erin Phillips, 06-385-8532, and regarding editorial to Robert Milne at the above number.
