By

Amiria

Teki

The national organisation of the Christian Teachers College held a two-day seminar in Raetihi last week, Monday and Tuesday, 29 and 30 April. Just over 30 students from Auckland and

Wellington and their tutors attended the seminar. Raetihi was considered because it was central for those travelling and the facilities were deemed ideal. The seminar focussed on cultural sensitivity in regards to spiritual and educational learning. Atthis time the college is focussed on the traditions and spiritual values of the Maori in this area. The group was preparing to visit the Rangahaua bilingual unit, based at the Regional Community

Polytech in Wanganui, days there before moving They will spend a couple of onto other areas.
