Info centre hours increase

Ohakune' s Information Centre is to increase their trading hours for the third year running. Supervisors Pat Goldfinch and Lynne McDonald have indicated the Information Centre will be open between the hours of 8am and 6pm seven days a week from 1 July to 30 October. The summer trading hours will also increase but will reflect the drop off in demand experienced around the end of October. Staff said they were pleased to move to a more flexible operation taking into account Ohakune' s unique seasonal demands. The provision of these increased hours is dependent on the adoption of Council's Annual Plan.
