Community participation and feedback invited

Residents of Raetihi and Ohakune are reminded that plans of their respective towns will be presented by urban design consultant John Achari today. The initial plans for Raetihi were first seen by the Winning Waimarino Mainstreet committee last July but this will be the first time the plans for Ohakune township and the Junction area will be made public. Winning Waimarino urges all interested residents to view the plans and hear John Archari's presentations at the following venues: The Ruapehu Hotel in Raetihi at 4.30pm; The Ohakune Primary School at 7.30pm. Winning Waimarino are hoping that public input and feedback will provide some guidance as to the future development of both towns.
