Bowling Snippets

Two teams from the Ohakune Women' s Bowling Club travelled to Marton to participate in an interclub day of bowls. Teams from Taihape Hunterville and Marton entered. The games consisted of rinks, triples, pair and singles and was played on a points system. This was a first for the country clubs to try this out. The idea is that each club will host this event in turn each season. It was most successful and enjoyable. Ohakune was lucky do be winners and runner up and Ohakune will be the host of this event next bowling season. The bowling season is fast coming to an end now with the season coming to an end in April.
