1995 baby names all unique

A feature of baby names for 1995 in the Waimarino was that there were no favourites — in fact it seems there were not even any double-ups. Out of the 40 baby boys registered at the Ohakune council service centre, no two names were the same although there were several starting with "J" including Jacob, Joshua, Jake, John, Jason, Jaydon, Jared and Joseph. Unusual names included Caton, Kalijah, Tuhoi, Puka-Tia, Sas Vaea, andGrayson. Of the 3 1 girls registered in Ohakune some of the unusual ones were Michaela, Sade, Chevon, Rhiannon,Leishae,Zivana, Chirade, Gage, Jade and Anwen. Nineteen deaths and 20 marriageS were registered at Ohakune for the year.
