Raetihi netball

Players in the Raetihi netball team of the Raetihi Primary School were presented with prizes recently by their coach. The most improved player was Erin Kilmartin, trophy donated by the Ruapehu Hotel Netball Club. The prize for best and fairest player went to Michelle Hiscox, trophy donated by Ruapehu Hotel Netball club. The sportsmanship award went to Vanessa Irwin trophy donated by The Raetihi Netball club. Most outstanding players were Deena Hammond and Susan Luff, trophy donated by Bubba and Blair Hope. This was the first year that the team played in the Waimarino netball division competition. The team came second in the second round and all players were commended for their effort. Special thanks went to Bob Peck, the parents and all the supporters for the Raetihi Primary School B Netball Team.
