Raetihi athletics
Raetihi School held its athletic sports on Wednesday 6 December, in warm sunny conditions, with quite a large number of parents and friends around to cheer their children on. Results: Seriior Girl Champion Erin Martin, runner up Krystal Brown; Senior Boy Champion Ivan Hall, runners up Damian Manahi & Rangi Ruke; Intermediate Girl Champion Ainsley Sands, runner up Susan Luff; Junior Girl Champion Kerena Williams, runner up Kristal Brooks; Junior Boy Champions Kamrin Elers & Hoani Brown, runner up Te Maire Hawira. The children entering the athletic sports must compete in all events to have a chance at the championship.
