Noel's last first aid course

Order of St John instructor Noel Swift ran his fourth and final first aid course in Waiouru last week. Eighteen people, including five forestry workers, successfully passed the 16-hour Full First Aid course that covers basic first aid and expands into medical conditions such as strokes and diabetes. Mr Swift conducts his first aid course at the Waiouru Hospital which he said was great, because training aids such as overhead projectors and video players are on hand and don't have to be carted around. He said he would like to thank 4th medical company for this help. Mr Swift is posted to the Field Ambulance in Dunedin shortly, so Neville O'Rileyof Taihape willrun St John courses in W aiouru.
