Waiouru
• Waiouru police attended a non-injury accident on the Desert Road on 24 November. The driver of a south bound car had lost control and crashed into a bank just north of the Oturere Stream. • Any witnesses are being sought by Waiouru police after a blue Volvo station wagon and a green Escort were involved in a minor collision at the Waiouru Community Centre car park on 18 November at about 4pm. • The owner of a gold signet ring found on the Shell Waiouru forecourt on 16 November can contact police to reclaim it. • The owner of a garnet ring found in the St James Church car park can reclaim it from Waiouru police upon suitable identification.
