MX rider top in North Island

Shaun Fredricksen of Raetihi has had plenty to smile about recently, having won the Junior North Island Championship competition in motocross. When Shaun went to Te Aroha and Paeroa for the weekend of 10 & 1 1 November he knew he had to go all

out to be in with a chance. He did so well, winning five of the seven events to clinch the title. On each of the previous three weekends, Shaun beat New Zealand's number one, Cam Anderson. Thirty two competitors took part in the North Island championships.
