Vandals chase away Raetihi house

The absentee Auckland owners of a Raetihi house (pictured) recently decided to move it to a site in Ohakune as vandals continually broke into the house and they had experienced problems with squatters. Neighbours say the house, at 1 1 2 Seddon Street, is very old and built before World War Two and possibly pre-WWl. Neighbour Irene Aruhanga says the house was owned for many years by Morry Williams who commuted from Raetihi to the Mangateitei Valley where he had a farm.
