Putting names to faces

Pictured are a mere 25 faces from the pages of Ohakune Primary and District High School's history. While most of these people are already registered the Centennial Committee are having trouble with the perennial problem, putting names to the faces. If you can help with names you can put them to faces in photos now on display in the window of Berry's Bookshop. The photos will be changed regularly so if you can help, please do! A special note for all local ex-pupils and associates of the school: we are still accepting

registrations at this stage so if you have forgotten or mislaid your forms call in a grab one from the information centre, book shop or the school. You can also pick up copies of the centennial weekend programme at these places. Remember, the celebrations are being held Friday 2 to Sunday 4 February 1996 — the weekend prior to Waitangi Day. The committee has a goal of 1000 attendees which is not unrealistic as there were 1500 people at the 75th jubilee. Hurry up and get your tickets to the biggest party the school has had in 100 years!
