Car Accident
At about 1pm last Tuesday afternoon both the Ohakune and Raetihi Volunteer Fire Brigades were called out to attend a single vehicle accident on a metalled section of Middle Road near Horopito. The young local driver was trapped after his car rolled and remained overturned until the brigades and local ambulance arrived. The driver was taken to the Waimarino Health Centre in Raetihi for a check up before being discharged.
