Maternal instincts save the day!

These three smart pet lambs cut out the middle man and dispense with bottle feeding by going straight to Ted and Maureen Warren's house-cow 'Big Whitey' for their twice daily milk supply. Ted and Maureen farm a property in Ohakune' s Marshall's Road and noted that their friendly house cow didn't mind the three pet lambs - two of which had been orphaned and one which had been rejected by its mother - helping themselves to this bovine source of milk ... in fact she calls to them to feed! Three-year old 'Big Whitey' calved in April and her own calf was weaned in September.
