An average high temperature of 1 3.2 degrees Celsius was recorded for Waiouru for the month of October with the highest temperature being 1 7.8 on 30 October. A low of minus three degrees was recorded on 20 October while the coldest day was recorded on 10 October with 6.5 degrees. A total of 93. 1 millimetres of rain fell during the month.
