• Ohakune Police are investigating the theft of assorted tools, a radio and a trailer from a house situated on Raetihi Road, Ohakune, overnight on 29 October 1995. • Police recovered approximately 190 cannabis plants from a vacant section at Rangataua on 28 October 1995. Enquiries are continuing into the find. • A marauding dog was shot by Ohakune Police while in the process of attacking a horse in Goldfinch Street, Ohakune, on 28 October. The incident prompted Police to remind owners to prevent dogs roaming by appropriate
tethering or caging, and to use leads when walking dogs along public accesses. • Police attended a domestic dispute that occurred in an Islington Street, Raetihi, address early on Saturday 28 October 1995. • Several snowboards were stolen from Off Piste Snowboard Hire Shop overnight on Saturday 28 October. Offenders gained entry to the building via a rear window. Police enquiries are continuing. • Police are investigating a further spate of tagging that occurred to property in the Ohakune Junction area during the past
week. Buildings, fences and signposts were targeted in the latest incident. Buildings belonging to Ohakune's Railway Station were also hit. • A vehicle stolen from Horne Brothers' Old Station Road depot in Ohakune, overnight on 26 August 1995, was recovered by Police in Wanganui. Police inquiries into the theft are continuing. Offenders were disturbed by Police at the same address on 24 October. $50 cash was taken from the office area. • Police are investigating the intentional damage to a window of a Clyde Street house on 25 October 1 995 . Offenders used a mop to break the window.
