Art on council
When the appointment of Cr Irene Dempsey as representative on the Taumarunui Community Arts Council was made last Friday, Crs Ellen Gould and Bob Peck asked if it was not possible for a similar appointment to be made to an arts
organisation in the southern wards. It was resolved that it was up to someone in the Waimarino to organise and formally set up a similar group to that which operated as the Taumarunui Community Arts Council.
