Still skiing
Numbers at Turoa were modest on Friday and Saturday, traditionally a busy Labour Weekend time. Prevailing winds kept the eruption ash a gas away and skiers enjoyed excellent spring skiing. Sunday saw larger numbers despitepoor visibility and snowfalls.
