Ohakune squash

Ohakune Squash Club held their club champs on 28, 29 and 30 September. A good number of entries were received. Tension on the courts was high with a lot of close games being played. Results are as follows: Mens Division: mens club champ; Allan Pratt; runner up John Laurenson. Best D grade player: Darren Triggell; Best E grade player: Warren Hislop; Best F grade player: Greg Tutill. Womens Division: womens club champ: Robyn Pratt; runner up: Karen Cranston. Best D grade player: Karen Cranston; Best E grade player: Mary Cranston; Best F grade player: Lois Lind. Most improved senior women: Elayne Weller; Most improved senior man: Rodger Suckling; most valuable club member: Marianne Thrupp. Ruapehu Sports Open Sport Tournament 6-8 October. Tuesday (today) is closing day for entries. If you wish to

enter phone Trinette 385 8838 or Graham Rumble 385 8932 before 5pm please. Prizes are gold, silver and bronze medals plus cash prizes in each grade.
