Coral Rahi from Bucks Drapery takes the part of a well-known Indian for Saturday's Carrot Carnival which went off with a bang, despite the eruptions of Mt Ruapehu the preceding week. People flocked from miles around to take in the carnival atmosphere and the parade making the day one of the best yet, National media also attended, attracted by Ruapehu's eruptions and no doubt looking for the "small town bears up under the strain" stories.
