Market day in Raetihi great weather - large crowds

Fine and sunny weather, brought large crowds out in the streets of Raetihi for the town' s market day. With a large number of stalls in the street, people had the opportunity to catch some good home craft bargains, or take home some good

old fashioned home baking. There were plenty of food stalls, raffles and lots of businesses offered good market day bargains. There was an auction in town run by Williams and Kettle, selling goods on behalf for people. Follow-

ing the street market was the spring flower show. The Ruapehu College boy's rugby match took place on the recreation grounds in Raetihi. They played the Ruapehu Under 21 development squad team. This reunion match was held in the afternoon.
