The Ruapehu International Training in Communications group has gone into recess. A pot luck tea was recently held at Margaret Comwall's home as the group' s final meeting. As always Margaret was a charming host with a friendly fire going making a warm atmosphere, which was needed as all were a little sad that this was the end of an era. Jean, the last president of the group, was presented with a shrub. Margaret and Keitha performed the speeches they had presented at the Council 8 speech contest last month. Margaret had been placed second with her effort. The last members of the group have decided to meet in October and again in February, on a purely social basis. _
