Another record snow year

1995 is shaplng up to be another record season at Whakapapa. Huge snowfalls in July left the ski area with a base well over three metres, equal to 1992, the best snow year ever. Whakapapa is boasting wide-open groomed trails from the top of the mountain right down to the Top O' the Bruce and down to the lower carparks. The spring skiing is going to be magnificent again, we'll be open until the middle of November and then we'll

probably open for skiing again around Christmas," says Marketing Manager, Scott Lee.
