New club for anglers
A new club was recently formed in Waiouru for anglers of all types from throughout the Waimarino. The Waiouru Fresh and Salt Water Fishing Club held its inaugural AGM earlier this month and will meet on the first Monday of each month starting with Monday 4 September at the W aiouru RS A at 7pm. Club president Ted Northcott said he is expecting a membership of around 30 people at this stage and new members are welcome.
