Applicant: Winstone Pulp International Limited Proposal: To extract and crush gravel deposits for forestry usefromWaharangi 7A2 BlockVII Rarete SD.being a 58.83 1 2 ha block situated in the Waimarino Forest north of Pipiriki. The proposal is to extract a trial volume of 2,OOOm3 during 1 995/96, followed by a further 20,000m3 over 20 years if the trial is successful. This Resource Consent is for the entire proposal. CENTRAL REGIONAL HEALTH AUTHORITY Health Services For Raetihi Good Health Wanganui has notified the Central Regional Health Authority (Central RHA) that it will cease to provide impatient services, except for maternity services, at Raetihi Hospital as from 31 December 1995. The Central RHA has developed a planning process to decide the best way to provide these services to the people of Waimarino after that time. No change in service will occur until the community has been consulted and alternative arrangements are in place. Details of how to get information and make submissions will be outlines in a leaflet to be distributed to all households during the week beginning 28 August.
