Another stag on show

Another stag head was presented to the Raetihi Cosmopolitan Club recently by Ranga Raharuhi who shot the beast in the roar of 1993. The stag was shot in the Tongariro National Park, with a 286 Douglas score, leaving Mr Raharuhi more than pleased with his effort. It has been a while since the

shoot but finally Mr Raharuhi was able to get a taxidermist to do the job. Des McFadyen does taxidermy for a hobby and is the only one around here doing it. Mr Raharuhi wanted to acknowledge Mr McFadyen for his work when they finally had the chance to present the stag to the club.
