Ruapehu Lions presented the Raetihi Fire Brigade firemen Dave Griffin and John Compton with a cheque for $600 to go towards replacing equipment stolen from the fire station in recent burglaries. "It's nice to know there are people who can do something for us to make up for the losses from the burglaries," said Mr Griffin.
