Waimarino squash

Waimarino Squash Club Raetihi has been running its annual inter-business house tournament and last week saw the finals of all divisions and the prize gi ving took place on Wednes-

day and Thursday. In the junior section division 3 the winners were Te Iwi Waiata 2 (Linda Grave, Josh Williams, Brock Marumaru and Daniel Richards). In second place were Te Iwi Waiata 1 (Brendon Morgan, Dallas Jensen, Chaana Morgan and Nikki Richards). Division 2 winners were Just It (Jason Whale, Don Windle, Dwayne Marsh and Tory (their lady member). Division 1 winners were Kune Killers with John Laurenson, Darren Triggell and Wayne Marsh. Wednesday evening, 2 August, the annual tournament, known as the Town

and Country Cup will be played. It is an open tournament and this year an invitation has been extended to non members from within the Waimarino area. Members say this is always a popular event and usually draws a large number of entrants.
