Sun shines on childhood day

Waiouru turned on its first fine day in weeks for Saturday ' s early childhood awareness day at the community centre. Parents and teachers from the full range of early childhood centres in Waiouru turned out to raise a bit of money and answer questions passersby may have had. The day was co-ordinated by Ali Tamepo of the Waiouru Information and Drop-in Centre and she said any queries regarding what is available for early childhood needs can be directed through her on 387 6111 extension 7917/7918.
