Ohakune Squash Tournament
Over the weekend Ohakune held their DB Open Tournament over 1 00 entries were received. Many from out of town and as far away as Pukekohe. Every one who was involved had a great time with a dinner and disco being held on the Saturday night. Dominion Breweries were our major sponsors. Than you to everyone who helped out with kitchen and other duties we appreciate your time. Results forthe junior squash raffle proceeds towards the South Island tour. Prize was top of the range evolution 440 racket. Winner No 30 Charles Mitchell. Winner of $ 100 note was Kenneth
Young. Results are as follows. Mens Division 1: winner Ben Young; runner up Allen Pratt. Mens division 2: winner Darren Triggell; runner up Craig Munro. Mens Division 3: winner Kenneth Young; runner up Teresa Heremia. Mens Division 4: winner Bruce Cranston; runner up Ian Kerry. Mens Division 5 : winner Colin Budge; runner up Mahia Topara. Mens Division 6: winner Brian McNeil; runner up James Ennis. Mens Division 7 : winner Mike Wharry; runner up Dwayne Marsh. Womens Division 1 : winner Robyn Pratt; runner up Sarina Marumaru. Womens Division 2: winner Karen Cranston; runner up Joanne Parkinson. Womens Division 3: winner Ali Rangihuna; runner up Kathy Bodly. Womens Division 4: winner Karen Hughes; runner up Marianne Thrupp.
