Results from 5 July North - South Handicap result: 1 T Ennis & S Hamlin 58.52; 2 H Cranston & R Martin 58.30; 3 M Hays & G Drayton 46.39. East - West handicap results: 1 T Bennett & P Le Noel 64.69; 2 G Mottram & J Mottram 59.93; 3 Sophie & Daniel 51.75 (visitors). On the 9 July the club held its mid winter tournament where 13 tables were played. Players came from Wanganui, Taihape, Turangi and Taupo with visitors taking the top three places over. 1 Q Cleland and D Price (Wanganui; 2 T Blackburn and J Chapman (Taupo; 3 R McLaren and C Thomas (Taihape). R Frew and B Eades won the Winter Cup the Ohakune club players with the most points in this tournament finishing 8th overall.
