Waimarino Golf

On Sunday the weather forecast was lousy, but as most golfers do, Waimarino Golf Club members (30 of them), went out to the club just in case there was a little patch of blue sky over the course. Trouble was, even after playing nine holes, the forecast was right. Results: Ladies 1 G Fraser 35; 2 F Wise 35. Juniors: 1 C Heinold +4; 2 A Murdie snr +1 ; C Dolman +1 . Seniors: T Fredrick Jnr +4; 2 G Creedy +2; 3 N Lietz all square. The lucky number was not struck this week. Next Sunday is the second qualifying round for men's club championships. On bar duty this week is John Hammond.
