Neil and Rose Attwood have soldjheir business, Waimarino Autos, having bought into it some four years ago. Prior to that, Neil worked in a business in Railway Road for some years in the same capacity as an auto mechanic. Earlier, Neil worked for HE Webb Motors. Rose has not only brought up two children and run things in the domestic department, but she has been in the work force, driving buses for 1 1 years. The Attwoods are moving to Rotorua where Neil has a job working as a mechanic. Their daughter Nicki is in the fifth form at Ruapehu College, where she will continue until the end of the year. Seven-year-old daughter Casey said she is looking forward to a new school and a new beginning at Rotorua. Both Rose and Neil said they will be sad to leave Raetihi
as this is where they have been brought up and lived pretty much all their liveS. "But it's time for a change and now is as good a time as any to make changes and to adjust to those changes while we are both young enough to do that," said Neil. Neil takes up his new job later this month. Rachael and Greg Cameron have come from Wanganui to take on the business. Greg has 14 years' experience as an A-grade mechanic, working all that time for Wanganui Motors. He completed his apprenticeship with that same firm and has been working as head foreman there for the past two years. Rachael and Greg will run the business in partnership. They have an eight-month old son and they look forward to continuing the same service that was provided by Neil and Rose.
