Scouts to quiz for cash
Get the team into training, it's quiz time again. That' s the message from the Ohakune Scout Group that is fundraising for a group of scouts to travel to Fiordland for the 1996 Jamboree. The quiz as usual will be teams of four answering 10 rounds of 10 questions. Subjects include local, musical, body parts identification and a new topic based on cities with unusual names for their airports. The Waimarino Golf Clubrooms are the venue for the quiz to be held on Friday 21 July at 7.30pm. Prizes for first, second, third and last are up for grabs as well as between round give-aways, to those whose sense of humour outstrips the brain cells. A fun night is promised for everyone who attends.
