Cogs Information Applications for COGS grants are now being accepted. If you are providing an "essential service" to the community you could be eligible. The Community Organisation Grants Scheme targets Maori, Women, Pacific Island, people with disabilities and the socially disadvantaged. The scheme is community based. The disbursement of grants is made by a Local Distribution Committee (LDC), selected from your local region. Application forms are available from the Community Advisory Bureau (CAB), Whanganui or from Dick Shepherd at the Palmerston North Link Centre (Phone 06-355-8083). Applications close on 4 August 1995. The community are advised that selection for LDC members is currently under way. We particularly invite nominations from people who provide as social service to the community, or who are recipients of a service.
