• A Gallagher electric fence unit worth $450 was re- I ported stolen from aNei Street, Rangataua, property, on 23 May. • A 21-year old Putaruru man was arrested in Raetihi Wednesday 24 May for driving while disqualified. He is to appear in court next month. • An Ohakune man was picked up driving while disqualified on Rangataua Road, Ohakune, on Thursday 25 May. He is to appear in court next month. • A boat stolen from Hamilton, worth $8500, was located on Friday 26 May in Raetihi in the possession of members of Black Power who were passing through the town. One person from Hamilton was arrested for this offence and is currently facing charges in the Wanganui District Court. • A burglary at an address in Nei St, Rangataua, was reported to police on Saturday 27 May. A small quantity of paint was stolen from this address. • At approximately 12.30am on Sunday 28 May a car crash occurred near the 6km mark on the Ohakune Mountain Road involving one vehicle. The vehicle was heading down hill with the driver and one passenger when the dri ver lost control, and the vehicle overturned onto its roof. Neither occupant was injured but the vehicle was immobilised.
