Ohakune garden club reports

The AGM of the Ohakune Garden Club was held in April at Trevor and Noeline Reynolds' home. The results of the election were as follows: president Nita Wilde, secretary Maureen Warren, treasurer Kandy Mott. Dot Barnes demonstrated floral arranging and the members enjoyed trying one of their own, with very good results. Competition results. were: shrub of choice - 1st Noeline Reynolds, 2nd Dot Barnes, 3rd Bea Barnes; flower of choice - 1 st Edith Beavis, 2nd Noeline Reynolds, 3rd Lois McQuarrie; chrysanthemum - 1st Maureen Warren, 2nd Lois McQuarrie, 3rd Kandy Barrett. The next meeting will be on 23 May at Nita Wilde' s, with a guest speaker on chrysanthemums.
