Sheep slaughter
Twenty seven sheep were slaughtered sometime between Sunday 9pm 7am Monday morning by two dogs at a Marino Street, Rangataua, property. Many more animals were also injured. The dogs, that wandered from Rangataua, were easily identified and the owners have been located and police are proceeding with the matter. People are once again reminded by Police that it is vitally important to farmers' livelihood to keep their dogs under control. _ . , _
