Rally's top places go to survivors

Joe McAndrew and Bob Haldane in their Subaru Legacy took first place in the Powderhorn Chateau Snowline Rally, with a total elapsed time of 55 minutes 31 seconds — just one second ahead of car number seven Brian Green and Stuart Jenkinson. McAndrew and Haldane won the rally with a high average time, only winning Stage Six. Green and Jenkinson also did well overall but only took first place in one stage, as did Reece Jones and Leo Bult in their Mitsubishi Lancer Evo3 in third place. Despite winning three separate stages, Andrew Grant and Adam Lyall in theirMitsubishi Lancer RSE were placed fourth on elapsed time. The first stage took out most of the loosing cars. 'They ' re all out on a mission, all fired up and it's a tough stage," said Russell Harris.
