Fun ride to raise cash for school

This Saturday's fun ride is for the locals, so organisers are hoping to get more entries in tomorrow to support the event which is to raise funds for Ohakune

Primary School. So far the 15 entries they have received are all from out of town. The course is designed as an easv, if not long ride for

the whole family. Cycling guru Warrick Funnell said the distance and terrain was such that a 10-12 year old could do it with their parents as a family outing.

starts off easy with a ride out to Lakes Road, some gentle undulating terrain then a downhill section, then fairly flat back out to Ohakune Raetihi Road and on to Raetihi.
