Swimming club

Ohakune swimming club held its prize-giving and a pot-luck tea on Thursday 9 March. All the swimmers were congratulated on the tremendous progress made since December. Special awards and trophies were presented to: Senior champion Suanne

Sue; Runner-up Christine Sue; Junior champion Jackie Laurenson; Diving cup Fiona Lynch; Runnerup Jessica Weller; Most promising pre-schooler Rachael Lynch; Most promising 5-6 year old Clare Lynch; Most promising 7-. 9 year old Maria Elfstrom; Most promising 7-9 year old Leeza Young; Best junior in senior events Jessica Weller. The club will continue to hold its Saturday and Sunday sessions until the pool closes.
