Bowls rep

Members of Ohakune Women' s Bowling Club have recently completed participating in the Wanganui Centre Champion-of-Champion events, with one person coming home with a Centre title. Merrilyn George won the Junior (up to 4-years playing) Womens singles title, beating Waverley 22-12; Gonville 23-12; Caivs Avenue 25-1 and, in the final, beating Ann Loveridge of Castlecliff 24-6. She has also been selected again for the Wanganui Junior team to play Taranaki in April.
