SPECIAL ORDER: RUAPEHU DISTRICT ROADING LOAN 1995 - $1,000,000 Public notice is hereby given that at its meeting held on 24 February 1995 the Council resolved by way of Special Order pursuant to Section 7 1 6B of the Local GovernmentAct 1974 and the Local Authorities LoansAct 1956 to raise the above loan. The Special Order will be submitted for a confirming resolution at the next Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held in the Council Chambers, Huia Street, Taumarunui on Friday 3 I March 1995 commencing at I 1 .00am. The purport of the Special Order resolution is to raise and make provision for repayment of the loan which is for the upgrading of the Raetihi-Pipiriki Road to accommodate logging traffic. Copies of the resolution to be confirmed are deposited at Council Offices and Libraries in Taumarunui, Ohakune and Raetihi and are open for inspection by the public during the normal opening hours of those Offices and Libraries. Attention is drawn to Section 34A of the Local Authorities LoansAct 1956 which provides that no demand for a poll of ratepayers shall be of any effect unless the number of valid signatures to the demand is equal to or greater than 15% of the number of separately rateable properties on the valiaation roll that are within the district and further that every person who signs a demand for a poll of ratepayers under this section shall state

PROPOSAL TO CLOSE ROADS TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC Pursuant to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Roaa Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is hereby given that the Ruapehu District Council, for the purpose of the Wellington Car Club holding Round I of the 3 Sport National Rally Championship and the Central Region Rally Series proposes to close tne following roads to ordinary vehicular traffic for the periods indicated nereunder. During the proposed periods of closure provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the roads.
