Garage alert

Caltex Waiouru suffered minimal damage after an electrical problem in the red neon lights outside the building started a fire on Friday night. Forecourt attendant Manu Manuel noticed the fire and turned the electricity off which put the fire out. The Waiouru Fire Brigade was alerted and they removed the skirting and checked for further fire, said Mr Manuel.
