Waiouru RSA darts

Tuesday 14 February: After a successful night at the Waimarino Club in Raetihi on Monday night (W aiouru won the Glyn Hill Trophy), the standard of darts on Tuesday was excellent. Brian, Larry and Luana all threw 180's. Other winners for the evening were: overall winning team, Mark and Garth; high start, Steve 116; high score female, Luana 145; high score male, A.J. 177; high finish, John 98. Although John scored one from three darts the Wooden Spoon was presented to Garth for scoring 180 during warm up practice. All in all a great evening was enjoyed by all. Tuesday 21 February: Six teams of two played 501, double start, double finish. Winning team over all was made up of John and Brian who won 10 points out of 1 0, high start female, Olene 100; high start male, Mai 100; high score female, Patricia 140; high score male, Mai 140; high finish, Cathy 43. The Wooden Spoon went to Cathy for scoring two from three darts. A "hard luck" prize went to Karen and A.J. who although they played very good darts, only won one set for the evening.
